So what's the difference between the two? Essentially they're both the same thing, right?

No,
Pass Rush means he is adept at rushing the QB, this means putting pressure on the QB.
Sack Master means he is adept at sacking the QB.
So if you want someone who will sack the QB get a Sack Master with Speed Burner.
If you just want someone to Hurry up the QB, then that would be Pass Rush.
But if you are looking for a great DE then get someone who has Pass Rush, Sack Master and Speed Burner.
I use Manley for Bronze, he is really good during the early game but his stamina seem to go down in the 4th quarter and he barely can get a sack after that.
A great DE combo would be Pass Rush, Sack Master, Speed Burner and Clutch.
Randy White for example, he has clutch and he performs better than the rest of the DT's. He seems to stand out more on clutch situations.

But do you ever find that White gets man-handled by bigger offensive linemen? My only qualms about using Randy White or sticking with Lily & Donovan is that they're so light-weight. I don't know how much weight comes into play on this game (I'm sure a fair amount) and it worries me that when I go to a 3-4 formation that these guys will get eaten up by the o-line because they're around 250 lbs each.
I notice Lily is less effective but maybe it's just a coincidence. This is why I try to avoid the 3-4 with him in the game, but at the same time, the 3-4 is more versatile. It just pains me to not be able to use one of my best defensive formations. I wish in those cases you could sub him in at a DE spot like teams with smaller DT's do now. |

Yea they do get tossed around in a 3-4 Set up, but Randy White fits really well in a 4-3 scheme.
In a 3-4 set up, i think it is best to get Legend LBs more than Legend DLs. |

| True. I normally go in a 3-4 with that particular team is when it's a passing situation. |
