I played a Legend game the other night and here is my observation between the two difficulties.

All-Pro: Offense is faster, more speed, more punch.
Legend: Offense is slower, less speed, less punch.

The difference is that in Legend mode your generic CBs will be able to guard the legends much easier. Everything feels slow because your offensive legends are toned down a bit. The matchups are even and it does not feel like your legends stand out. It feels like a game of Generics.

So after playing in Legend i would say that All Pro is the best difficulty.

It has the speed, the punch, the players play the way they are supposed to and the game feels more fun in this setting.

I've been playing on Legend and it feels, to me, like my offensive Legends aren't nearly as effective as they used to be to the point to where they've been dumbed down. Oddly enough, the Legends on defense seem to play a lot smarter.

I messed around and created a Custom difficulty by incorporating the Legend level's CPU AI and the All-Pro level's Human AI. This made it a lot more realistic and balanced but the only thing I worry about is that I won't be able to earn Achievements. Does anyone know if a Custom difficulty effects whether or not Achievements can be unlocked?

Yea the offense is dumbed down, they feel like theyre running in mud. It feels boring to me.

I am not sure if difficulty affects achievements, you can test it out and post your findings.

The thing that makes me really angry is that Legend turns it into more of a passing game(vs CPU)...I would rather play on Legend vs a Human....2k simply needs to pull their head out and make ALLPRO the difficulty that is ultimate realism...harder than it is now, but more fair than LEGEND, which can force a player to look for certain things that work vs the CPU at that level........all their games need this tuning and just make LEGEND the exploits version of the game....the idea of combining ALLPRO human settings and LEGEND settings for the CPU is very interesting.

All Pro with Legends settings? Wouldnt that be a Custom slider setting? Maybe they can implement a Slider feature that gamers can rate, and the best Sliders will be used as the main game setting.

Basically allow gamers to play in a dynamic difficulty and not be stuck on just one ALL PRO or Legends difficult, So as time passes users will be able to create the best setting for the game and that will be used by everyone.

Dynamic Online Difficulty feature would be great!
