Nastiest cut in boxing match ever?

I was able to watch this fight on Sopcast in front of my pc in a little window, i know im cheap - hey its free lol!

Even tho this was being streamed online and its not HD, i could feel the intensity of crowds and the fighters and the fight was still incredible as if i was at ring side. 

It was a pulse pounding nail biting event i must say!

When the first bell rang i was expecting Pac to go into a "brawl" mode but surprise surpise this match became a tactical strategy event where both boxers were trying to get a feel for one another.

It was really something to see when two boxers engage in a mind game trying to determine what each boxer would do or how they react to each punches.

This was really a Championship match and this is what boxing should be, it is a game of chess in a destructive scale.

Much of the fight Pac was the aggressor and JMM was  the  passive "counter-punch" specialist. And each one tried to dominate one another with their own style of boxing. 

Sometimes each of the boxers would step into each others styles. JMM getting into the "brawl" style and then Pac becoming a "counter-puncher" where he doesn't even throw a punch and just kept waiting for JMM to be an aggressor.

Through out the match JMM looked as if he has Pac controlled with his counter-punching technique delivering head snapping jabs and at some point delivering body hits that looked like it would be the end for Pac resulting in a KO.

But Pac kept coming back utilizing power hits in which one of his left hooks land straight to JMMs temple sending him to the canvas. In one of the late rounds Pac delivers a hit that made a huge gash on top of JMMs right eye. Very nasty, at one point the cut man inserted some kinda blood soaker thingy inside this gash, it was gross. This could have resulted in a stoppage because that gash could have opened up his eye or whatever. But they let the fight continue since it is a Championship match.

Through out the match everything was very even. Each fighter trying to establish their own style and control.

But in the end, Manny Pacquiao's knockdown was the deciding factor of the whole match that enabled him to be the new WBC and RING Feather weight champion!

This was a great technical boxing match for the ages that involve drama from beginning to end. Everything about how great boxing is was encapsulated into this event.

Altho some JMM fans thought that he won and it was a robbery, the match could have gone either way. But overall the deciding factor was the knockdown and Pacquaio's energy at the end of the match which sealed the victory.
