Take-Two will release All Pro Football 2k9

Little bits of info are starting to emerge regarding wether APF2K9 will be released or not..

In Gametrailers video Episode 11 Bonus Round, the host mentions Take-Two bringing APF part 2 back and they also make a joke about OJ Simpson.

The little clip starts just after the Grand Theft Auto IV discussion. And it is about maybe a minute at the end of the video. It is a very short clip and they also show some APF2K8 video clip.

So once again this is great news for all APF2k fans and fully legitimizes that APF2K9 is indeed currently being developed by VC and it is coming next year!

Lets Take-Two ! Madden can't hang. Make 2k9 so great in every aspect of the game of football, that all footballs fans of the game will be talking about Take-Two.

I think that is what they are working on just like what they did with NFL2k5. They slowly built a game so good that it made EA buy the NFL license.

With this years All Pro game, the plan is the same, but this time EA will not have the ability to "buy" anything, other than buying the whole Take Two / 2ksports company which probably wont happen.

2Ksports should keep doing what they do and they will emerge on top of the football gaming world in future years.

As a 2K fanatic, I was greatly disappointed by APF 2K8. While it had good gameplay for the most part, it was a very sloppy game that seemed rushed even though they had no need to rush. Bad field textures, pathetic lighting and superman running backs made this game frustrating. Also, why the game looks great up close but shitty from far away is beyond me. All I know is, if 2K9 will be like this, it will be staying on the shelf. 2K, either go hard, or go home.

I'm really looking forward to 2K9, and I'm hoping that the developers don't take the easy route and just update a few things because this is not what they've been known for. I foresee a major overhaul or upgrade from 2K8 because, to me, it seemed that they were just testing the waters in preparation for a full-out blitz.

2k8 was great even thought it was the first release! I love the game and if I have anything else done to it (except the NFL liscense). I would have more legends. Awesome game though! Fun as all get out to play

still a long way, they're focused on MLB2k8 and Prizefighter right now.

After they release Prizefighter which is around April/May then APF2k news will come out.

I am a fan of 2K Sports. How can u not share with the fans u have, as to why no updates on ALL Pro 2k9. There other football games coming out, and they are not afraid of Madden. Hardcore football fans want , what u created in 2k5.

See what a lot of people must understand is that ap2k8 was made only in 6 months..2 all the people trying to put the complete smash down on the visuals of the game..hello!!!! Imagine if u have no access to anything nfl related including lic. etc..etc.. The only option they had was to create off of nuthen. See ea sports could of never done that! If u ask me..they did a brilliant job overall visuals including creating all of the players! Also they worked off the old 2k5 engine, think of it..u got 6months so let'z give the 2k5 fans sumthing..and that'z what they did! Everyone knows the power of 2k sports and they are the best hands down. Just wait until the next installment arrives! Nfl lic. Or not, itz time to put the complete smash down! And of course ea will bite like always...come on nfl head couch! Now all of a sudden their players have personalities..hmm..nba2k8 had that! Thatz it from me 2day..all faktz baby! All faktz! Holla

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE LAST COMMENT EA IS JUST TOO D#@# AFRAID OF COMPETITION. IF YOU ASK ME SCREW THE NFL LICENSE THE GAME HAS THE GAME HAS THE POTENTIAL OF TAKING YOU BACK IN HISTORY TO SEE HOW SAY JIM THORPE MATCH UP WITH SAY DICK BUTKUS- MOST OF YOU GUYS HERE WERNT BORN YET, WHEN THEY PLAYED BUT YOU GET A CHANCE TO AT LEAST LEARN SOMETHING OF THE PAST NFL PLAYERS WHO PAVED THE WAY TO MAKE FOOTBALL WHAT IS IS TODAY, ALTHOUGH I DO AGREE THE PLAYERS IN ALL PRO 2K8 IS SOMEWHAT KINDA SUPERHUMAN LIKE. ONE MORE THING TAKE TWO, JUST GIVE ME THE ABILITY TO CREATE AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF PLAYERS, WHY? I STILL PLAY 2K5 FOOTALL & HAVE EDITED ALL HISTORICAL TEAMS & WOULD LOVE TO IMPLEMENT ALL 900 OF MY HISTORICAL PLAYERS FROM 2K5 TO APF9 YES 90O HISTORICAL PLAYERS & have the ABILITY TO PUT THEM ON WHAT EVER TEAM I CHOOSE FOR THEM!! I WAS DOING THE FOOTBALL LEGENDS ON 2K5 BEFORE YOU GUYS THOUGHT OF IT. IF YOU DO THIS I WILL BE TOTALLY IN FOOTBALL UTOPIA!!!

I would hope that 2K Sports bring All Pro back with a vengence, 2k5 will always be the best football game of all times. All Pro can be that as well , with updated visuals, one thing that no one has done EA or 2K , no snow splashes or dirt. 2k did it with the rain splashes off the helmets that was sweet. 2k we have no other football game since 2k5 to really get excited about Madden 09 is out there . But its not 2k , come back , don't let EA WIN. 2k your fan base is watching and waiting.

NFL 2K8 was great,I prefer this Footbal game over Madden any day,I like playing from a side view for the real football look, and Madden does not offer this.Also the graphics for 2K8 leave Madden in a dust.I know a lot of people waiting till they get the license back for the nfl players to be injected back to the 2K SERIES.

There is no reason to wait till 2013 for the nfl iicense / all pro 2k10 can be great , just give us everything u gave us in 2k5 with more exciting commentary, presentations. I want excitement in the game from fans and players, and coaches.
